Where ImproveBuild comes from

ImproveBuild began as a desktop system built to run a real remodeling and construction business day to day, and was later offered commercially as Remodeler’s Business Solution to other contractors facing the same problems: estimates that did not connect to the invoice, job costs that only showed up after it was too late to do anything about them, and client communication living in somebody’s inbox instead of the job record.

Those three problems are not marketing inventions. They are what the software was built to stop happening, by somebody they were happening to — which is why an estimate flows through to a quote, a purchase order, receiving and a bill, and why job costing is where you can see it rather than buried in a report.
